Earnings-related pension earned in Finland can be paid to pension recipients living in all countries.
If applying for Finnish earnings-related pension from abroad, the application process differs depending on which country is in question.
- If you live in an EU or EEA country, you need to apply for the pension in your country of residence. In every EU and EEA country there is a co-ordinating agency that deals with pension issues, through which you can apply for an earnings-related pension from Finland.
- If you live in a country other than an EU or EEA country, you need to apply for earnings-related pension directly from Finland. You can initiate the application process by e.g. contacting the Finnish Centre for Pensions or your own earnings-related pension institution.
