The benefit similar to group life insurance, payable to the surviving spouse or child of a deceased state official or employee, is granted and paid by the State Treasury, upon applying for it.
Application forms are available from the State Treasury or from the deceased employee’s employer or they can be printed out on the Internet at www.valtiokonttori.fi/vakuutus/lomakkeet under section Vahingonkorvausten hakemuslomakkeet (Available in Finnish only)
