The real estate company Kiinteistö Oy Vantaan Puutarharanta consists of seven two-floor blocks of flats. The blocks were completed in 1998. The buildings are located at the corner of Mesikukantie 1 and Peltolantie 28, west of the Tikkurila centre in the quiet, child-friendly Viertola area.
The centre of Tikkurila is within a walking distance of just over a kilometre. Optionally, you can take the bus as the stop is only 200 metres away. Commuter trains and long-distance trains stop at the Tikkurila station, where the local buses also depart. Helsinki-Vantaa international airport is just a ten-minute drive away, and Kehä III (Ring Road III) is one kilometre away.
Veromiehenkylä and especially Tikkurila provide diverse services, including shops, schools, kindergartens, health centre, post office and library. The banks of River Kerava offer excellent surroundings for outdoor sports, for example skiing in the winter.
The immediate surroundings provide sports opportunities for people of all ages. You can go, for example, swimming, bowling or skating in Tikkurila Sports Park. Flamingo leisure and tourism centre, Jumbo shopping centre and Heureka, the Finnish Science Centre, are located within a few kilometres.
Flats and shared areas
There are 43 flats in the house. The flats’ floor areas vary between 43 m2 and 102 m2. All flats on the second floor have a balcony, and flats with two floors have both a balcony and a patio.
The ground-floor flats have a patio. Some of the flats also contain a sauna. Each flat has a designated storage room. There are shared laundry and drying rooms as well as outdoor sports equipment and general storage spaces in the house. Rental parking spaces are located in a covered car park.
