Paying rent

Amount and revision of rent

The rents for our flats equal fair market rent and vary depending on the location and age of the building.

Increases in rent are based on the increase in the cost-of-living index. Rents are reviewed annually in accordance with the lease agreement’s terms concerning the index. Additionally, for properties that have been completed after 1998, the rents shall be reviewed every three years by comparing them with the rent statistics issued by Statistics Finland or KTI Property Information Ltd.

Rent can also be paid by direct debit

Direct debit is the simplest and cheapest way of paying your rent. If you make an agreement with Keva to pay your rent by direct debit, your rent will always be paid on the due date.

Just fill in the direct debit authorisation and deliver it your bank. The bank will inform Keva about the change in payment method. We will send you an advance notification about the start of the direct debit payments. You should take into account that if you have delivered the authorisation to your bank at the end of the month, the direct debiting may not start at the beginning of the following month. If you wish, you can check the starting date of the direct debiting by calling us at the following number: 020 614 2366

After the start of direct debiting, you will no longer be sent rent invoices. We will send you an annual rent revision letter, in case the rent is changed.
