When work capacity weakens

If your work capacity has weakened, discuss the matter first with your own supervisor and occupational health care representative. Often changes made in the workplace, such as work arrangements, training and ergonomic solutions can improve a person’s ability to continue at work.

Keva’s services

Our services improve your possibilities to continue at work even if your capacity to work has decreased.

  • Vocational rehabilitation is an option worth considering if you are threatened with incapacity to work due to health reasons.
  • Partial disability pension supports you if your capacity to work has weakened but you can still continue at work with a lighter workload.
  • A part-time pension offers you the chance to continue at work if your resources for full-time work feel inadequate.
  • A cash rehabilitation benefit can be granted to you for a fixed period if it can be assumed that your capacity to work will be restored through treatment or rehabilitation.

If you wish to, you can retire on an old-age pension at 63 years of age or continue at work until you turn 68. When you continue at work you receive a larger pension than if you retire earlier. Use the pension calculator to estimate how much continuing at work will affect the amount of pension you receive.

Everyone is responsible for their own occupational well-being

Each of us can affect our own occupational well-being. It is a good idea to discuss matters impairing your capacity to work and occupational well-being at an early stage. The subject can be brought up by you, your supervisor, workmate or occupational health care representative.
