Vocational rehabilitation is worthwhile

Your income for the vocational rehabilitation period will remain relatively good as you receive rehabilitation allowance or a cash rehabilitation benefit with an added rehabilitation increment. Your income equals your notional pension incremented by 33 per cent.

The longer you continue in working life, the better your old-age pension will be.

Work also gives life meaning. You can also renew and perhaps also broaden your know-how through trial work and retraining.
