Vocational rehabilitation

Vocational rehabilitation is meant for those employees who are threatened by incapacity to work due to an illness. The aim is for the employee to continue to work performing tasks better suited to his or her work capacity or return to work after a long sick leave.

The majority of the vocational rehabilitation is completed at the workplace.

The most common methods are

  • trial work
  • job coaching and
  • retraining.
